The principle of transparency as “total accessibility” to information regarding the organization and activities of public administrations was established Legislative Decree No. 33 of March 14, 2013.
The regulation is intended to enabled to encourage citizens to exert widespread control over the work of institutions and the use of public resources.
In particular, the data published in this section is intended to encourage citizen participation for the following purposes:
- ensure knowledge of the services rendered, their quantitative and qualitative characteristics, and the manner in which they are delivered;
- prevent corrupt phenomena and promote integrity;
- submit each stage of the performance management cycle to widespread control to enable its improvement
Anyone can exercise the right to know, use and reuse the data items subjected to mandatory publication free of charge.
